My name is Terella Tanskanen, but I usually go by my Internet name Peking Snowfur.
I was born in 10.3.1987 in Helsinki, Finland and have lived my entire life in Southern Finland.
My family roots are in Lieksa (Northern Carelia, Eastern Finland) and my grandparents still live
in there. I am the only member of my family with true artistic skills. I have natural skills in
many areas and that makes me very varied artist. I can draw, paint, sew, dye textiles, sculpt
and so on.
I have been very interested in animals, nature, art and sewing since a little child.
When I was younger I spent half of my time at my grandparents´ cottage which is located in
the middle of a Northern Carelian forest. There I got to know many animals, insects and plants.
But in high-school I truly started to understand animals when I got interested in animal
behaviour and animal training. I have read and I own lots and lots of books about animal
behaviour and I also attended a dog trainer course. I view animals egual to humans.
I first learnt to make plushies at school when I was 8 years old. My teacher taught our class
and I got so interested in plushies that I continued making them at home. I started to make
realistic plushies in 2006 when I found a plushie-making book from library. I studied the book
carefully and after a while I tried to make own plushies. Since then I have been in love with
plushies.
I am a playful and curious person. I am a good speaker and have a strong voice. I am eager to meet
people and I love all kinds of conventions. I always seek more knowledge about things and phenomenons
and that´s why I am interested in everything.

I don´t have a fursona because I like way too many animals to pick just one and call it my fursona.
Instead I have characters which I use as fursonas.
